about

This is the 1st of many Cover Songs to be re-done and performed live by Deadwood Dick in DEATH OF THE WEST. This performance is actually the 1st solo performance by Deadwood as Death of The West at the infamous HOTEL UTAH where many local denizens hone their craft and get their start. This version has been slightly embellished but the live vocal and harmonica were done at the Hotel Utah on 9-18-2014 with the aid of (alas!) a backing track (seein as how Deadwood can't manage to cull together a troup of troubadours bold (or perhaps foolish) enough to perform onstage with him... You listeners out there can look forward to a long list of gothic western covers of songs like "Some Velvet Morning" and "Wichita Lineman" and even "Rolling Stone" by The Weeknd! Anything Deadwood can transmogrify into a decadent barbQ smojrgersbord of moo-sical skin and bones will be tossed into his nonsensi-cull blender of a brain and come out HERE...on Bland Camp!
